Honda Updates Pioneer 1000 for 2026
Honda is marking the 10th anniversary of its flagship multipurpose Pioneer 1000 side-by-side by introducing new trims, updated tech, and the brand’s first-ever fully enclosed model.
Pioneer 1000 Elite
Headlining the 2026 lineup is the all-new Pioneer 1000 Elite, Honda’s first side-by-side equipped with a factory-installed cabin and integrated HVAC system, offering year-round comfort. Designed under the theme “Work Comfortably, Play Comfortably,” the Elite offers improved heat management, refined ergonomics, and new throttle-by-wire (TBW) technology.
The adoption of TBW across all trims allows for smoother shifting, enhanced drivability, and the introduction of ride-enhancing modes such as cruise control and a variable speed limiter. Comprehensive design refinements reduce cockpit heat and noise, while new storage options and a more intuitive control layout improve day-to-day usability. The Elite will be offered in Crimson Red and Cactus Green colorways.
Pioneer 1000 Deluxe
The Deluxe trims, offered in Hero Red, Black Forest Green, and TrueTimber Atera Camo, are available in both three-seat and five-seat configurations. The Deluxe benefits from styling revisions, expanded comfort, and Honda’s new Pro-Connect compatible cargo bed for easier accessory integration.
The 2026 Pioneer 1000 Deluxe lineup will arrive at dealerships this May, starting at $20,999 USD, while the highly anticipated Pioneer 1000 Elite is slated for a late 2026 release, with pricing to be announced. Both models continue to utilize Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) and are planned, developed, and built in the USA using domestic and globally sourced parts.
