At the heart of it all is a 999cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin—a 4-stroke, 8-valve SOHC setup that’s happy on regular gas and fed by fuel injection (with a 44mm injector). Hit the electric start, and you’re off with smooth, confident power that feels right at home crawling through rough property lines or stretching its legs on faster trails—kept in check by a speed governor when the job (or the day) calls for it.



One of the best parts of the Pioneer’s personality is how it puts power down. Honda’s DCT transmission blends manual/automatic clutch convenience with 6 speeds, reverse, and hi/low range, while shaft drive sends torque where it needs to go. Traction isn’t a guess, either: you get selectable 4x2/4x4 with four driveline modes, plus front and rear differential lock when conditions get sloppy and you’d rather keep moving than start digging.



The stance is purposeful�.1 inches long, 64 inches wide, with a tight 15.4-ft turning radius and a confidence-boosting 13.8 inches of ground clearance. The suspension is built to work: independent double wishbones front and rear with 10.6 inches of front travel and 10 inches in back, along with preload adjustability and a rear stabilizer bar for a planted feel.



Rolling on aluminum wheels with 27-inch Maxxis Big Horn 2.0 tires, stopping is handled by hydraulic discs at both ends. And when it’s time to haul, the numbers speak loud: 1,000 lbs payload, 2,500 lbs towing, and a tilting polyethylene cargo bed with 1,000 lbs bed capacity.



Inside, it’s built for real days: three bucket seats with headrests, vinyl upholstery, six cupholders, and useful dash storage. Add
